Ok, so the idea of this blog is to review films in an informal and hopefully informative manner with a focus on all the good parts of the film in question. Even if the film is shit the idea is to wade through the sea of crap and find its good qualities...kinda like trying to argue that Hitler might not have been 100% evil... maybe not the best analgy to start a blog with! In the upcoming weeks/months I shall try to assemble a posi + team of "writers" and begin discussing film in terms of its good points. Born out of frustration of the negative criticisms that adorn many publications and pretty much every youtube video and blog comment spot, lets put a smile on that face of yours...

ReplyDeleteMe thinks if i attempted to review films i know to be a complete waste of my life energy then id likely blow a blood vessel from trying to hide my true feelings.............especially with all the comic films out there these days. and the complete ignorant crowd of mainstream cinema that ignore the beauty of indie and world cinema.
ReplyDeleteyep i think the only chance of me singing Kum biya in a film critic circle is if its in those areas. just yesterday i realised i was like the one guy on Rotten tomatoes via facebook who said very little good about the second (or any) Spidey film.. i hate Twilight with pride. and tend to cringe when i hear of a Michael Bay film.........but then i have been force feeding every bugger info about Blue Valentine, Winters Bone and almost any under the radar indie art that deserves allot of stars on its posters (as in actual stars not over credited hollywood actors). but seriously all the best in your efforts at telling arse's like me to smile at the [quite usual] utter crap everyones talking about. ;p
jeez dude i only just realised how old this thing is..............hmmmm suppose this is a good time to pose the option of doing a really evil destroyer of everyones mainstream love blog eyh? ha ;D
